Specialized Labs & Areas

Our school offers a diverse range of specialized labs and areas designed to ignite curiosity and foster hands-on learning. This practical application of their learning experience extends beyond the classroom.

SMARTLab
The first in the state of Louisiana, the SmartLab offers students the opportunity to explore Digital Communications, Mechanics & Structures, Robotics & Control Technology, Scientific Data & Analysis, Software Engineering, 3D Printing, and Sustainability.
eSports Studio
The eSports Studio provides an environment for students to delve into the world of digital innovation and media. It features a video production room complete with green screen technology. Additionally, this facility supports the first elementary school eSports team in the district, where students compete in various competitions.
Renewable Energy Lab
The Renewable Energy Lab provides students with the chance to delve into sustainable energy solutions, promoting environmental responsibility and nurturing creative thinking. Our mission is to educate students about renewable resources and the conservation of our natural assets through cutting-edge technology and exemplary Project-Based Learning.
Creative Culinary Lab
The Creative Culinary Lab offers a unique space to master the art of cooking with a focus on creativity and skill development. Here, teachers facilitate learning in the lab by making real-world connections to their subject areas, seamlessly integrating academic concepts with practical cooking techniques.
STEAM Lab
In the STEAM Lab, young scientists and engineers have the opportunity to delve into various disciplines, improving their comprehension through hands-on experiments and projects.
Outdoor Classrooms
Outdoor classrooms offer an alternative learning environment beyond the conventional classroom setting. Teachers have the flexibility to conduct classes in these outdoor spaces at any time during the school day.
Outdoor Gardens
Outdoor gardens offer an exciting, hands-on learning environment. In these natural classrooms, children can explore scientific concepts by observing plant growth, understanding ecosystems, and learning about weather patterns and their effects on the environment. This direct interaction with nature fosters curiosity and encourages scientific inquiry, making abstract concepts more tangible and relatable.
Aeroponic Gardens
Aeroponic gardens, also known as garden towers, are within several classrooms. Students engage in scientific inquiry and experimentation through monitoring plant growth, understanding the principles of aeroponics, and exploring the environmental benefits of sustainable farming. These gardens not only enhance academic learning but also instill a sense of responsibility and environmental stewardship in our students, preparing them for a future where sustainable practices are crucial.
